passive observer. By convening this conference, AEFUNAI positions itself as a thought leader in global legal
innovation, providing a platform for cross-continental
dialogue and collaborative research.
The maiden edition of the AE-FUNAI International Law
Conference (2024) on “Digital Sovereignty and the Law:
Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Cyber Governance” set
a remarkable precedent, featuring Hon. Justice Festus Obande Ogbuinyia (JSC) as Keynote Speaker and the
Hon. Attorney-General of the Federation as lead
contributor. The second edition seeks to expand that
legacy and attract broader international participation.
